Default Thumbs Up to EFK Fire Dragon Barrels. I ordered a second barrel from them

About four weeks back I had a thread about ordering a .357 Sig Barrel for my .40 XD Subcompact from EFK Fire Dragon. I was told 6 to 8 weeks turn around time and got it in just over a week. The sales rep I worked with, Morgan, was great. Very knowledgeable, very nice, friendly and got me my barrel very fast. She even suggested a few .357 Sig carry ammo's that work well in a short barrel.

I have about 500 rounds through my XD Fire Dragon Subcompact Barrel and love it. I like the product, I like the caliber and I got great customer service which is very important to me. I decided I wanted a .357 Sig Barrel for my FNX as well. I called Morgan but she wasn't available. The person who helped me was equally as friendly, knowledgeable and pleasant as Morgan was. She made me feel more like I was talking to a friend than a salesperson. My new barrel should be here in about 2 weeks.

I am really liking the .357 Sig round. I think I am going to buy a few boxes of Underwood Ammo for bout my barrels. Everything I see and read about Underwood has been good reviews.

It's always pleasant to experience good "customer service". Actually, quite a few firearms and related companies are like that. When our middle son worked for WACA in the Navy, during George Bush Jr.'s administration, the Secret Service used .357 SIG's.

I like my 357 Sig a lot. I want to shoot it more but I can see it being a good carry round.

    They don't have S&W M&P barrels

More reason to buy an XD or FNX

All kidding aside I like the M&P line. I have a 9mm Shield that I love. When I bought my first XD I rented the XD, M&P and Glock. Shot all three one magazine at a time to make sure my hand wasn't more tired for one over the other. Took 2 magazines through the Glock for me to decide I didn't like it. Put 200 rounds through both the XD and M&P. It was a hard choice. I really liked them both. The XD just felt better in my hand. It was also before the Shield was out and the XD Subcompact .40 was smaller than the M&P Compact and it was a carry gun. The XD came home with me and I still carry it today. That was the first 357 Sig barrel I bought. That very same .40 XD Subcompact.
