I just got my new flashlight for my AR but it won't fit where I was hoping to put it. I remembered the rail section on my red dot and it seems to work well, but I was wondering if it would affect the ability to hold a zero.

It might be a bit clumsy, I'm not sure yet, but I can live with it. But I'm not willing to mess with my zero.

I WILL DO WHAT I HAVE TO AND DEAL WITH THE CONSEQUENCES OF MY ACTIONS LATER
I would like to do that but I don't have another picatinny section. I was having trouble finding another. Kinda hoped this would work for now.
Is that a Keltec Sub2000?
People crushed by laws, have no hope but to evade power. If the laws are their enemies, they will be enemies to the law; and those who have most to hope and nothing to lose will always be dangerous.
I wouldn't do it on the optic either bro, Regardless of the zero, if your close enough to use the flashlight the zero will probably be negligible, but the real problem is the shadow casting?
Turn the lights off and use it in your place, and see how much the weapons obstructing of the light emitting, I'm betting its quite a lot. I'd move it as far forward as possible to not hinder the light cone? If you cant attach the thing on the front, on that rail you could use zip ties in a pinch, but once that barrel heats up good and nasty that thing will defiantly fall off, so as long as your not going ham with it all the time, even zips could work.
