Default HELP IDENTIFY - Pair of old (duel?) pistols

Among other old guns, I have a pair of identical (that's why I only show pictures for one of them) pistols. They look like a set of two duel pistols (not meaning they are), with the following marks: "ELG*" on the cannon and "NEAUME À ANGOULÊME" on the side:

Any help in identifying the class of pistol, country, age, aprox. present value for collectors is very welcome. I researched that ELG is a Belgian maker, but Angoulême is a French city not close to Belgium. Should you need any more pictures just let me know.

    Regards

Any realistic appraisal is going to require a hands on evaluation by a qualified person. Are you currently in the US? There several antique dealers that would be able to give a run down as to the value.

Email Mr. Held. He is very, very good.
