Default Percussion Modules for Savage model 10ml

    Hi All,
I recently bought a savage model 10 muzzleloader. The gun is in great condition and I would love to shoot it, however, it never came with firing or percussion modules. If you or anyone you know has some that they would like to sell please message me. My gun is useless without these modules. Thanks.

    What parts are you missing?

    Hi Popeye,
I need the bullet like firing module which fits into the breech plug. The 209 fits into the module, which is attached to the bolt and then slide into the breech plug for firing. After gun is fired, the module is removed and a new 209 primer is added and repeat.

The silver bullet like piece is the firing module.

I did not find any, however, I did find an alternative solution. At Hankins custom rifles, I found percussion modules that fit and Jeff rebored a breech plug that fits my gun. The modules use large rifle primers and I needed to purchase a Lee auto primer to set the large rifle primers into the ignition modules but I now have 20 modules that work great in my gun. It works very much like a savage ml ii. The breech plug and module fix was under $100. My savage ml now has a new life.
